"Call on me" cups
I am fed up with children shouting at me to gain my attention. I need to set up a standardized method of asking for help. I need to find a way to enforce it as well. There needs to be a consequence for shouting out that help is needed. I think if I use the cups that Nancy suggested I will have a solution in hand.

Rm115 Ginger Grueber- Late class, too many activities
This class had a certain amount of frustration. I found that we were not able to get to the copying and pasting of pictures into kidspiration. It was enough to ask them to search for a term by themselves in the World Book Encyclopedia. Many students were successful.

Rm208 Elena Montàno- Kidspiration story creation
Overview
This class period went rather well. I released the reigns a bit on the discipline. It helped I think. However, This was a class that has demonstrated that they can live by the rules. I felt confident in giving them the extra leash because of that. The students really seemed to enjoy the exercise. It played into their curriculum, and they also were able to practice computer related skills. All in all, it was a very productive class period. I should make a point of saving this particular lesson plan.

Rm211 Brian Horan- Discipline issues.
Overview
I became rather frustrated with this class. I had them practice entering the room, and there was some difficulty getting them to stop talking while I was addressing the entire class. It was difficult to get to the actual activity. There was a lot of commotion during instructions that I gave to the entire class. I felt the neccessity to use ever harsher discipline measures. At one point I explained that if they continued I would ask them to return to their room. They did not change their behavior, and I asked them to leave. It was also time for them to go, but we were not able to continue at that rate.

Rm110 Brenda Lortz- Switching horse midstream
Overview
I had origionally planned to utilize the Squeak application for this class period. However, I noticed that it was taking me to long to get it loaded onto all the computers. I switched my ideas. Instead I opened Kidspiration on all the computers that the kids would be using. I had them perform the real/imaginary activity under the writing and reading template. It proved to be rather successful.

Rm209 Jim Hodges- Broken Webstream?
Overview
I created a brief lesson plan outlining my intentions before class began. The plan is posted to the lab website. Today, we had to practice entering the room silently again. I had some trouble playing the pbs streaming video for some reason. Later, I tried after the class left and it was no problem. Afterward, the activity was made difficult for the students because they couldn't type in the address correctly.
